Questions about our canyoning trips

We'll answer all your questions

At CANRIV, we welcome children ages 6 and up on family outings. The route is always chosen based on the age of the youngest member of the group. Your children are in good hands.

This is recommended but not always required. Some family-friendly routes involve very little swimming. Please let us know each family member’s skill level when you make your reservation, and we’ll choose the appropriate canyon accordingly.

Allow between 2.5 and 4 hours in total, including time for gear setup, the approach hike, the canyon descent, and gear takedown. The canyon descent itself usually takes between 1.5 and 2 hours, depending on the route. It’s a full half-day, designed so that even the youngest participants come home tired but not exhausted. 😄

All technical equipment is provided by CANRIV. Please remember to bring:

  • Swimwear for the whole family
  • Closed-toe athletic shoes
