Reception & Facilities
Welcome to Furon Intégral, the full-day canyoning adventure just 15 minutes from Grenoble! Your CANRIV guide will meet you at the Mayousse Bridge and outfit you for 5 hours of adventure: a neoprene wetsuit, socks, a helmet, and a harness. We have a long day ahead of us, so let’s get off to a good start.
02
Furon Haut, Part 1
We start with the Furon Haut. After a 5-minute walk, the canyon opens up in the Vercors Massif. There are progressively higher jumps up to 9 meters, natural slides, a variety of rappels, and a zip line that really leaves a lasting impression. The “Express” section at the end of the course brings together the best obstacles to finish the Furon Haut on a high note. It’s an excellent warm-up before moving on to the next part.
03
A well-deserved break between the two halves
A break to eat, recharge, and mentally prepare for the second half. Because the best is yet to come.
04
Furon Bas, the Final Part
We’re off again to the Furon Bas. The atmosphere changes, and the obstacles get tougher. The 20-meter abseil with its travertine waterfall is the signature section of this second part—an unforgettable moment in the Vercors. The descent continues with optional siphons to explore, jumps of up to 12 meters, and cold, crystal-clear water fed by the Sassenage caves. The Furon Bas wraps up a day already packed with thrills, featuring the most challenging obstacles on the route.
05
Exit from the canyon
Direct exit to the Furon Bas finish line.
06
Removal of Equipment and Return of Materials
We return the gear and find our things dry. Six hours in the Vercors—that takes its toll. In a good way.
07
A Fun Time & Memories
We’ll recap the day in narrative form with your guide. There’s always some debate about the best time to do the zip line and the 20-meter rappel. CANRIV offers souvenir packages to capture your canyoning day near Grenoble: professional photos and videos in the Standard Package, Couples Package, or Premium Package.
