01
Reception & Facilities
Welcome to Grenant Junior! A great adventure for little explorers! Your CANRIV guide welcomes the children and outfits them with gear tailored to their size: a neoprene wetsuit, socks, a helmet, and a junior harness. When you see the look on their faces at that moment, you already know the day is going to be memorable.
02
On the Way to Adventure
A 10-minute walk through the magical, wooded landscape of the Chartreuse Mountains to reach the entrance to the canyon. Just enough time for the kids’ excitement and questions to build.
03
Safety briefing and entry into the canyon
The guide explains the rules of the game to the children before they step into the water at Grenant Junior. Key message: Nothing is mandatory; everyone moves at their own pace. And that goes for parents, too.
04
The Canyon Adventure
As soon as you enter the canyon, the atmosphere is magical: clear water, smooth rocks, the sound of the river… The kids are instantly captivated. We make our way leisurely along the riverbed, encountering the first natural slide, a small pool with an optional jump of up to 4m, another slide, and fun sections through the water. The guide adjusts the pace to suit each child, reassuring the more timid ones and encouraging the more adventurous. No one is ever put in a difficult situation.
05
The Return of the Adventurers
It takes 5 minutes to get to the meeting point. The kids run off—finally—after trying to convince the guide to let them go down the slide one last time.
06
Removal of Equipment and Return of Materials
We return the equipment and find our belongings dry. The wetsuits are soaked, but we’re all grinning from ear to ear. Mission accomplished.
07
A Fun Time & Memories
The kids reenact their descent down the Grenant Junior as an epic tale with the guide—a version that’s vastly improved compared to reality. And to capture their adventures in the Chartreuse, CANRIV offers souvenir packages! Professional photos and videos are available in the Standard Package or Premium Package. Because seeing the kids’ faces on the slide is priceless.
