Canyons in Rhône-Alpes: Experience the Thrill of the Valleys

If adventure calls, give in! A tip from a bon vivant. Imagine this: you’ve been dreaming of an outdoor sport that combines several activities. Well, look no further—canyoning is the perfect blend of caving, hiking, and rock climbing, with a dash of whitewater (perfect when it’s hot). We promise you a truly exhilarating getaway through the canyons. And that’s not all—here’s the proof!

Butterflies in my stomach

Are you a beginner or an adrenaline junkie? It doesn’t matter! Canyoning in the Alps means exploring riverbeds however you like. Jump joyfully into pools, rappel down waterfalls, slide like kids down water-carved slides… Not to mention the natural pools that are a joy to swim through. What more could you ask for?

A "getaway" kind of place

The canyons around Annecy, Chambéry, and Grenoble—these narrow gorges surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Get ready for total immersion in nature! Do you have a strong urge to get away from big cities and the hustle and bustle of everyday life? This is the place to be. The chaos of city life gives way to a vast haven of well-being, with adventure as the backdrop. Here, underground caves and open-air canyons whisk you away into their enchanted world: go ahead, dream—it’s allowed!

Landscapes You'll Never Forget

Especially if you love the mountains. Choosing a canyoning route in Angon near Annecy, in Alloix in Savoie, or in the Vercors in Isère means exploring the heart of the high mountains—where the peaks gently brush the sky and hungry birds of prey are your companions along the way. Keep your eyes wide open: the snow-capped peaks, the rounded (and lush green) hills, the rivers meandering peacefully through the plains… Good luck getting back home afterward.

XXL Security

We love to joke around, but we also love it when everything goes smoothly. Translation: Your safety is our top priority—and we don’t mess around when it comes to that. All outings are closely supervised by state-certified guides using professional equipment that’s regularly inspected. And that’s not all! You’ll receive a thorough briefing before each outing to ensure a completely stress-free experience.

The Intense Experience

“What did you do this weekend?” Answer: “Oh! We went canyoning near Annecy. We were with friends, and it was the best activity we’ve ever done together. We laughed, we cheered each other on, we overcame our fears, and above all, it felt like we were in a magical world.” Because yes, going on a canyoning adventure is a life-changing experience. Except when your dignity gets left behind on the cliff.
