Welcome to Grenant Intégral—the version for those who don’t do things by halves! Your CANRIV guide will meet you right at the edge of the canyon and outfit you with a wetsuit, socks, helmet, and harness. No approach hike—we get right to it.

No long walk to get there—it's just a 10-minute drive. That's the first piece of good news of the day.

Safety briefing and entry into the canyon

Your guide will brief you before you enter the Grenant Intégral. The key message: the jumps are optional, but the spirit of the course is to go all the way. It’s up to you to see how far your legs—and your courage—will take you.

The Canyon Adventure

Right from the start, the scene is set: whitewater, steep, enclosed walls, and a wild atmosphere in the Chartreuse. We dive right in. Downclimbs, the first jump into a deep, enclosed pool to warm up, an 8-meter rappel, a narrow slide… and then it happens: the ejector slide. The signature thrill of Le Grenant—the one everyone talks about before and after. What’s next? A series of jumps, slides, and whitewater swims all the way to the exit. Three hours that fly by too quickly.

The Return of the Heroes

It takes 5 minutes to get to the meeting point. Just enough time to catch your breath and check out the faces on the ejector slide.

Removal of Equipment and Return of Materials

We return the equipment and find our things dry. The wetsuit took a beating—it deserved it.
