Once the quote is approved, we’ll reserve your time slots and guides. We’ll send you a handy guide with all the information you need (GPS coordinates for the meeting place, a list of simple items to bring: swimsuit, sneakers).

On the day of the trip, your guide will be waiting for you at the meeting point. We’ll provide you with top-of-the-line gear—thoroughly sanitized and tailored to each person’s size—including a 5mm neoprene wetsuit, helmet, harness, and neoprene socks. Your dry belongings will be kept safe in the vehicles.

After a fun, kid-friendly safety briefing, it’s time for 2 to 3 hours of laughter, teamwork, and thrills in the canyon! At the end of the course, we take our time to slowly take off our gear and savor these unforgettable moments together as a family.

Safety is our top priority. A little rain won’t stop us from canyoning (we’re already wet!). However, if our guides determine that the water flow is too high or that a thunderstorm threatens the group’s safety, we’ll immediately offer an alternative: rescheduling, switching to a sheltered canyon, or a full refund if no alternative is possible.
This is recommended but not always required. Some family-friendly routes involve very little swimming. Please let us know each family member’s skill level when you book, and we’ll choose the appropriate canyon accordingly.
No, as long as you’re supervised by state-certified instructors. At CANRIV, every family canyoning trip is carefully planned in advance: we select a canyon suited to your family’s age and skill level, check the water flow, and conduct a thorough safety briefing before departure. Your child will be equipped with a 5mm neoprene wetsuit, a helmet, and an approved harness.
