Upper Section: The Major Highlights
We start at the top with the canyon’s most challenging rappels. The 65-meter waterfall is the highlight of this first section: an extreme rappel into the void, with a view of Lake Annecy that’s as breathtaking as the height itself. The guide supervises each section with precision. There are 9 rappels in all—varied and technical—in a wild and unspoiled setting.
05
Discovery Section: The Mailbox and the Jumps
The descent continues through the open section of the Angon Canyon. First feature: the legendary “mailbox,” the signature narrow passage that defines this canyon. The route then continues with small, optional jumps of up to 5 meters, natural slides, and water crossings, all set against a natural, sun-drenched backdrop with Lake Annecy in the distance.

Two canyons, two radically different experiences, in the same mountain range.
